This 4-HOUR Texas Electrician continuing education course covers the following:
- Thirty minutes on Texas Electrical License Law and Administrative Rules
- Thirty minutes on Electrical Safety 2024 NFPA 70E®
- Three hours on the most significant changes in the 2026 NEC®
A licensee may not receive CE credit for attending the same course (number) more than once.
Due to state regulations, no one will be admitted to the seminar after it begins.
YOU are responsible for renewing YOUR license.
This course is approved by TDLR for renewal of all Texas State Electrical Licenses.

This course is designed to prepare Electricians to take the state Residential Wireman, Journeyman or Master license examination.
Our exam preparation seminars are very fast paced and cover Testing Strategy, Study Material, Electrical Theory, Ohms Law, Practice Exams based on the 2023 National Electrical Code® and Code Calculations.
Those preparing for the Journeyman Electrical Exam will attend 20-hours (5 classes) of instruction.
Those preparing for the Master Electrician Exam will attend 28-hours (7-classes) of instruction.

This Professional Electricians Code Training course (PECT), is a refreshed, exclusive CenTex IEC offering.
This 100-HOUR course is an ideal choice for those who have an abundant amount of electrical experience, but lack the formal in-class training. This fast paced, technical training program, aims to provide an alternative path, for those with four (4) or more years of field electrical experience, (8,000 hours plus) to gain the classroom knowledge generally offered in the first two years of a typical electrical apprenticeship program.
This program is NOT designed to replace Registered Apprenticeship Training, but to improve an electrician’s skills to keep them competitive and productive in today’s market. Each of the Five (5) MODULE style courses are designed to cover a wide range of relative topics within Chapters 1-7 of the 2023 National Electrical Code®. These classes are taught by an industry subject matter expert using Mike Holt’s industry leading textbooks, videos and other training tools.

This 2-day 10-Hour Outreach Training Program teaches workers about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards in construction.
An excellent program for ALL electrical personnel, Job Foremen, Supervisors, Project Managers, and Company Owners.
Participants who complete the full 10-Hour course (must attend BOTH classes) will receive an U.S. Department of Labor-OSHA course completion card in Construction Safety & Health.
The following subjects will be covered:

- OSHA Focus Four Hazards – 4 hours
- (1) Falls (minimum one hour and 30 minutes)

First Aid with CPR & AED

OVERVIEW
This training meets OSHA and NFPA 70E Guidelines for First Aid and CPR Programs and combines lecture, interactive video demonstrations featuring emergency scenarios that are likely to occur in a variety of environments and hands-on training to teach participants lifesaving skills.
- First Aid: Participants learn to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies, such as burns, cuts and scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck and back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies.
- CPR Adult: Participants learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults.
- AED: Participants learn how to use automatic external defibrillators.
Emergency Preparedness Training for Electricians
Train employees to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies. Students who successfully complete this course will receive certificates for Standard First Aid with CPR / AED valid for two years.
